If you attended school in this historic building, what better way to bring back those memories than have your class reunion at your old school building. The Museum welcomes classes to hold their reunions in the auditorium.

Dulcimer Classes: Jan.24, Jan. 31, Feb.7, Feb 21, Feb. 28 and final class March 6. The classes will be taught by Margaret Wright of the Old Time Music and Dulcimer Festival. This will be a 6 week class held at the museum each Thursday night beginning at 6:30 p.m. and going to 8:30 p.m. Call 903-723-1914 for details and cost.

The January 2008 'Embrace the Arts' reception for the artist will be Janurary 5 from 6-9pm in the Museum Gallery.

The 'Embrace the Arts' Monthly First Saturday Arts Event is free to the public – with art exhibits, comments by the artists and refreshments.

In addition to the exhibit at the Museum other exhibits will be at the Palestine Public Library, 1101 North Cedar and Judith Summerville Arts, located at 213 East Crawford Street in Old Town Palestine.

The 2008 Museum historical calendar is on sale at the Museum Store. Be sure to get this year's calendar 'a train ride back in time' featuring the history of the railroad in Palestine.

You can add this one to your collection of past museum historical calendars. What better way to take a look back into the history of our city than through your calendar each year. The cost of the calendar is only $10 with all the proceeds going to the museum. Celebrate the spirit of Texas with a ride on the historic Texas State Railroad.
